Formulas for the regular polygon ring

Perimeter (\(\small{P}\))

\(\displaystyle P = (a + b) · n \)

Area (\(\small{A}\))

\(\displaystyle A = \frac{n·(a^2-b^2)}{4·\displaystyle tan\left(\frac{π}{n}\right)} \)

Thickness at vertices (\(\small{c}\))

\(\displaystyle c = \frac{a-b}{2·\displaystyle sin\left(\frac{π}{n}\right)} \)

Thickness at edges (\(\small{c}\))

\(\displaystyle d = \frac{a-b}{2·\displaystyle tan\left(\frac{π}{n}\right)} \)
