Calculate vector interpolation

Online calculator for calculating vector interpolation

The calculator on this page calculates vector interpolation with 2, 3 or 4 elements.

To calculate, select the number of elements (3 is the default) and the weighting. Enter the values of the vectors and click on the 'Calculate' button.

The value 0 is assumed for empty fields.

Description of vector interpolation

The interpolation function calculates a point on a line that passes over the coordinates of the two vectors. The position on the line is determined by the value in the weighting.

If the weighting value is between \(0\) and \(1\), the calculated position is between the two vectors. If the value is less than \(0\) or greater than \(1\), the position is outside.
